About the Role
Meridian Advisory is seeking a Digital Transformation Analyst to join our growing Operations & Digital Practice. Reporting directly to Partner Daniel Okafor, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our digital transformation engagements across mid-market and government clients throughout Western Australia.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent IS or business graduate who's passionate about understanding how technology reshapes organisations. You'll work alongside our senior consultants on high-impact projects, gaining exposure to diverse industries including resources, government, and healthcare while developing your analytical and client-facing skills.
With our firm currently managing several significant digital transformation initiatives, including potential large-scale government programs, this role offers exceptional learning opportunities in a collaborative, partner-led environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive process mapping and analysis to identify digital transformation opportunities
- Support requirements gathering workshops with client stakeholders across various organisational levels
- Perform change impact assessments and develop recommendations for implementation approaches
- Assist in developing business cases and ROI analyses for digital initiatives
- Create detailed documentation and deliverables including process flows, requirements specifications, and implementation roadmaps
- Support data collection and analysis to inform transformation strategies
- Participate in client presentations and contribute to proposal development
- Collaborate with our 8-person Operations & Digital team on cross-functional project workstreams
- Research emerging technologies and best practices relevant to client industries
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field with strong academic performance
- Demonstrated understanding of business processes and how technology enables organisational change
- Proficiency in process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical thinking with ability to synthesise complex information into clear insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for client-facing interactions
- Experience with project coordination or business analysis through internships, coursework, or part-time roles
- Interest in working across diverse industries and client environments
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Eligibility to work in Australia
Preferred: - Exposure to change management frameworks or methodologies - Understanding of agile project management principles - Previous consulting or professional services experience
